General: The Soulja Boy is new and has been sweeping the nation lately. It's pretty simple to learn if you take the time. The beat is solid so it's hard to get off it. Watching a video or someone else is probably the easist way to learn as well.
With these types of moves, they're dependent on the song and where you are in the song usuallly. So for this it starts on the words "Soulja Boy". The first step is to jump up and criss cross your legs. You jump, land with your legs crossed then jump again and land back in the original position. To get an idea for the beat, this criss cross happens on the two first words "Soulja Boy". You land crossed on "Soulja" and land crossed on "Boy". Now when you cross your feet, also cross your arms slightly in front of you as well. So when you land crossed, both your feet and arms are crossed. Then without a rest raise and touch your right foot behind you with your left hand.
Next have to do a quick modified lean with it rock with it. I'm going to explain it the easiest way but doing exactly how I write will not look to good so you'll have to practice to get some fluidity. First throw straight forward your right hand, then switch with your left, then switch again with your right. Now when you switch that last time and put your right arm back out your going to do a dip. On the beat that you put out your right arm bend your knees with your right knee facing forward and your left facing out to the left. And snap your fingers when you go down.
Instructions: First start out with your feet parrallel and shoulder with apart.
Now cross your right foot across in front of you and touch the floor with it. Then bring it back to its original position and touch the floor then do a knee slap. Then without a rest you do the superman which is just throwing your hands up and to the right like superman and leaning forward, but don't actually move out of your position. When you come back to your original position you're almost done. All you have are four leans. It's not set which direction you start, just go with the direction most of everyone else is going. To do the lean to ther right you put your hand ups so that your left is extended directly out to your left and your right comes across your body loosely. Close your fists then hop to the right on either both feet or just your right. Then do the opposite to the left. You do this four times.
This a move that has a whole bunch of different variations and extra things can be changed or added anywhere. What I put up above is the normal thing and you won't be called out really on getting it wrong if you do that.
